Purpose

The HIV/AIDS Task Force works to ensure that our government’s commitment to ending HIV is strong and that our institutional support systems for those living with HIV are inclusive of the LGBT community and our most at-risk populations, namely young men of color. This task force fights to repeal policies that discriminate against people living with HIV, coordinates with outside groups to provide HIV awareness education to Members and their staff, and draft letters and legislation that address HIV in ways consistent with the needs of the community.
